145th transplantation from the Croatian Registry

In the month of giving, we received good news from the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry that three more hematopoietic stem cell transplants were performed in November for patients from Croatia and abroad. One of these transplants was performed from donated umbilical cord blood stem cells.
Thanks to these donations from selfless people from the Croatian Registry, the number of people who have the opportunity to recover has risen to 145 since 2009 when the first hematopoietic stem cell transplant from the Croatian Registry was performed. Umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation performed is the 7th donation of umbilical cord blood stem cells from the Public Cord Blood Bank Ana Rukavina since its founding in 2007.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all the noble donors who decided to help and save someone’s life!
