Dear friends, Thursday and Friday, May 11th and 12th, we spent in Split and Orebić.
It is difficult to describe the kindness and attention we received from our beloved organizers and dear people who, with their enrollment, came to support their closest loved ones who need transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells.
A total of 216 of them were registered in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donors Registry, 80 in Split and 136 in Orebic, in order to help the ill persons.
Many thanks to all who helped in the organization of the action, primarily our beloved Anja Babić from Split and Dajana Baleta and Mladenka Marinković from the Korčula-Pelješac-Lastovo-Mljet Cancer League, Nika Violić, President of the League and Mrs. Ivana Beer, the mother of the ill girl that needs Transplantation, on their heart and effort to encourage the people around them and remind them of importance of helping.
Thanks to the young people from Split and Orebić who enrolled in Croatian Bone Marrow Donors Registry and put themselves at the disposal of patients all over the world.
Thanks to our beloved dr.sc. Esma Čečuk-Jeličić and her beloved sisters who helped take samples in Split and the lovely Orebić ambulance team who were available to their neighbors in Orebić.
Thanks to the management of the Faculty of Philosophy in Split for support and space and to its Student Choir for assistance in the organization.
