Dear friends, together with Faculty of Organization and Informatics, we invite you to join the action of signing in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry that will be held on Friday, June 3rd, on the Faculty at Pavlinska 2, Varaždin, from 9 to 11
All interested students and faculty staff will be eligible to join the Registry and help sick people in their search for a matching donor of hematopoietic stem cells.
To enter the Registry, you have to be between 18 and 40 years old. The process includes filling the form and a health questionnaire, as well as giving a sample of your blood for HLA tissue typing that determines the antigens of tissue tolerance. Entering the Registry is the first step for helping people with acute and chronic forms of leukemia, or damaged bone marrow.
