156th transplantation from the Croatian Registry

Good news for the end of the week came from the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, which informed us that in August, two hematopoietic stem cell transplants were performed from donors from the Croatian Registry for a Croatian and a foreign patient.

Action to join the Croatian Registry in Krapina

On Tuesday, September 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Open University – cinema hall (small hall, Šetalište hrvatskog narodnog preporoda 13) in Krapina, the Ana Rukavina Foundation will hold an action to enroll new members to the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry.

154th transplantation from the Croatian Registry

Good news again from the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry – the 154th transplant was performed for a Croatian patient. In July, hope for life was given to another patient, this time from Croatia, and we sincerely believe that the transplantation will be successful and that the patient and his family and friends will celebrate the patient’s new birthday.

220 new samples HLA typed

We received a report from the Clinical Institute for Transfusion Medicine and Transplantation Biology of the University Hospital Centre Zagreb on new HLA typed samples. In May, 120, and June 100 new samples of potential donors were typed.
