In Hotel Solaris in Šibenik, the 1st International Congress of Nurses has begun under the organization of the Croatian Nurses Society of Anesthesia, Reanimation, Intensive Care and Transfusion.

The Croatian Academic Society (HAU) Split – Man Above All granted the award “Person of the Dialogue – Person of the Year 2007” to the Ana Rukavina Foundation.

The concert “For Ana’s Birthday” featuring Dražen Zečič will be held on March 27, 2008 at 8 PM in the Zrinjevac sports hall.

Thanks to the kindness of T-HT, the Ana Rukavina Foundation has a new hotline number for donations which will be used from March 1, 2008 to February 28, 2009. All the citizens who would like to contribute to the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation and participate in the humanitarian action “Kuna for a drop of life” can do so by calling 060 9005 (6.10 Kn per call, including VAT) and make a donation towards the cost of processing the collected blood samples. 

Today we received more good news: The Tissue Typing Center has informed us that 400 new samples have undergone DNA analysis.

Money from the budget: The government will allocate 4.5 million Kuna for tissue typing blood samples this year “The Ana Rukavina Foundation is too important to politicize or to allow it to be jeopardized because of a slow system” said the Minister.

In collaboration with Elan, the Foundation will endeavor to organize a humanitarian auction. The funds raised by the sale of the skis will be put towards financing tissue typing. We are all very grateful to Elan Croatia and the skiing legends whose.

The mayor of Šibenik, Nedjeljka Klarić, and the president of the city council, Ivica Poljičak, handed out the awards and recognitions for 2007 at a ceremony held in the city council on Saturday, February 16, 2008.
