Jasenko Houra hands his royalties over to the Foundation

Jasenko Houra, the frontman of the band Prljavo Kazalište and the author of a number of songs that have marked the last few decades, has decided to hand over all of the royalties he receives for his performances and the publication of his songs “Mojoj Majci” (Ruža hrvatska (Croatian Rose)), “Crno-bijeli svijet” (Black and White World), “Sretno dijete” (Happy Child), “S vremena na vrijeme” (From Time to Time) and “Heroj ulice” (Hero of the Streets) to the Ana Rukavina Foundation during the period from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2013.

A Croatian lady’s stem cells have saved the life of a patient in England. The patient sent a thank you note to the Croatian Registry of voluntary bone marrow and stem cell donors and requested that his words of gratitude be forwarded to his savior!

REMETE PRIMARY SCHOOL SUPPORTS THE FOUNDATION

We have already written on our web site about the young pupils at Remete Primary School who decided to give up one ice cream every month and donate that money to the Foundation instead. Their noble gesture continues and has gone a step further. This year they have been joined by the 3rd grade class and their teacher Sanja Varga!

Ivo Josipović donates 100,000 kuna to the Ana Rukavina Foundation

As the race for Pantovčak nears the end, Ivo Josipović, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, found the time to visit the new premises of the Ana Rukavina Foundation and even donate 100,000 kuna, and thus he joined the pre-Christmas humanitarian action that the Foundation held for the fourth year in a row in honor of the late Vjesnik journalist Ana Rukavina.
