MUP of the Republic of Croatia are also taking part in humanitarian action of Ana Rukavina Foundation!
Public announcement from the pages of MUP of the Republic of Croatia:
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are taking part in another admirable humanitarian life-saving action. MUP and Ana Rukavina Foundation have agreed on cooperation including voluntary blood donation organization by MUP RH employees, to help leukemia and lymphoma patients.
The first action of this kind will be carried out by Special police members (ATJ Lučko and SJP Zagreb) as well as Task Force Police on Friday, May 25th, 2007 in SJP Zagreb premises of Police Academy, starting at 9 a.m. Press conference is planned at 10 a.m.
This action will be followed by actions organized in all Police Administration Offices and stations on the territory of the Republic of Croatia; a large joint action is planned on occasion of Police Force Day on Jarun Lake, September 29th.
Voluntary blood donation allows membership with the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry. Voluntary bone marrow donor registry will make possible location of voluntary donors beyond family circles for leukemia and lymphoma patients. Registry expansion will support healing potential of leukemia patients. All bone marrow registries are joined in European and World Bone Marrow Bank, respectively. This means that you can save the life of anyone in the world, not just in your town or country, if you are enlisted in the registry.
Once you are included in the registry, you become potential bone marrow donor and at the same time potential life-savior of another person.
We are exceptionally glad to cooperate with all MUP HR employees, who have already participated in our actions in large numbers during the past seven months!
